Due to my experience in building enterprise class virtual environments for my day job, I had the knowledge to scale down the costs as it pertained to small businesses while providing similar fail-over agility when compared to enterprise environments.  To achieve this effort, two custom servers to run vSphere essentials were built, one as production and the other as fail-over.  Most of the designs for the small business footprint included workstations, printers and other network resources that were built with fail-over by design. This solution allowed the business day operations to continue and also allow for night and weekend support.
